Thumb your nose at the conventional brewing mindset with our newest
shirt design. The Reinheitsgebot was the German purity law in the 1500s
that restricted the ingredients in beer to barley, water, and hops
(they didn't yet know about yeast). Today, brewers are free to express
their creativity through a wide range of ingredients.
This shirt
was designed by award-winning artist Kasey Loman. Screen printed in
chocolate brown ink, the "Reinheitsgebot is a four letter word" slogan
forms an oval surrounding an illustration of hops and barley. On the
back is the Basic Brewing logo along with the following text:
